Currently on display until April 15th, 2012 at the Singapore Art Museum is a large sculpture of a melted Superman titled “No One Can Save Us Now.” The piece was created by artists Eric Foenander and Mojoko as part of the exhibition: The Singapore Show: Future proof. The piece is a comment on current global warming conditions and the un-optimistic view that there is little hope for the future.

4 March 2012Mr. Brainwash – Opera Gallery Exposition
2 March 2012Last night, I stopped by Opera Gallery in Geneva, to check out the new original works by Mr. Brainwash aka (Thierry Guetta), the artist immortalized in and in a sense created by Banksy’s documentary ‘Exit Through The Gift Shop’.
First thing I said to Thierry was “so where’s Banksy, are you Banksy?”… We had a few laughs, alot of champagne and we kept in moving. It was funny to see a bunch of very upper-class bankers in suits with their wives talk about “art” they have no idea about. It’s always entertaining to be in the middle of a gang of elderly women with huge diamond rings and botox lips who have no clue who Banksy is, dissecting Mr. Brainwash’s latest work.
L’exposition à lieu à l’Opera Gallery Genève Place Longemalle 10-12, 1204 Genève) de vendredi au lundi 19 Mars. Tous les jours de 10h à 19h, sauf les dimanches.
